Fracture of Perspex
Perspex is a brittle glass at room temperature, and fails in the same way as soda-lime glass. At higher temperatures (>150°C), it behaves like rubber! This is because of the different types of atomic bonding in polymers (plastics) which are very sensitive to temperature.
